Our privacy policy sets out how Inactu Facilities Support uses and protects any information that you give us when you visit and use our website.

Inactu is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected and any information you provide when using our website will only be used in the ways outlined in this privacy policy.

 

What we collect

There is just one area on our website where it is necessary for you to supply us with information and we only ask you to supply what we really need.

The areas are identified below and our lawful basis for processing your information in these instances is to pursue our legitimate interest, to request and process your data in ways you would reasonably expect in order for us to process your enquiry.

‘Get in touch / Make enquiry’ page – we require your name, your email address, your telephone number and the nature of your enquiry.

We include a Google reCAPTCHA box on our forms to make sure humans are completing them and not bots (spam in other words).

What we do with the information we gather

The information obtained from you submitting your information via the ‘Get in touch / Make an Enquiry’ page will be carefully assessed and forwarded onto the most relevant person in our business and appropriate action taken.

If you apply to a vacancy using our form, your application will be received by our HR contact.  To control the flow of data received into our business, your application may be forwarded onto the head of the department or team where the vacancy is.

The safety and security of your data is important to us and will be kept secure, and we will not use your information for any unrelated purposes.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties.


Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure and in order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect via our website.

If we experience a data breach, we will investigate the incident thoroughly following approved internal procedures which support data protection legislation requirements – General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018

 

Google analytics

In order to track visitors to our website and identify which pages they are interested in, we use a third party service called Google Analytics to collect this type of information.  The information obtained does not identify anyone. Controlling your personal information

Inactu will not disclose your personal data without consent unless we have a legal obligation to do so.

If you have completed the form on our ‘Get in touch / Make an Enquiry’ page, which can be reached via the ‘Contact Us’ link on our navigation bar, via the ‘Get in touch’ button or by clicking on the ‘Make an Enquiry’ button in our footer, we will keep your information for a period of 6 months.  It will then be securely and safely removed from our systems.  If you wish for your details to removed prior to the 6 months, please call us on 0782 461 1180 or complete the ‘Make an Enquiry’ form on our website and we will remove your details immediately upon receipt.

If you have applied to a vacancy via our ‘Make and Enquiry facility or your details have been forwarded to us by an external recruitment consultant whom we are actively dealing with regarding a particular vacancy (we assume you’ve given them authority to pass your details on to us), we will process, store and destroy your personal data securely in accordance with the ICO’s Employment Practices Data Protection Code and data protection legislation.

This means that if you are successful with your application and become part of our team, your application will go into a HR file created just for you – more details of where and how we store your personal data will be shared with you when you join us.

If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application for 6 months and then it will be securely and safely destroyed and removed from our systems.

If you email your CV to us speculatively, we will keep your details for 6 months and then they will be securely and safely destroyed and removed from our systems.

If you direct message Inactu via our social channels on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or LinkedIn, your message will be stored on the relevant social media platform.  It will not be saved on our servers.  We encourage you to look at the privacy statement/s applicable to the social media channels in question as they may differ from ours.

If you wish to see details of personal information which we hold about you, you may submit a subject access request under current data protection legislation.  If you would like a copy of the information held on you, please write to us at Inactu Facilities Support, 12 Mallard Crescent, Poynton, Cheshire, SK12 1HT.  We may charge you a reasonable fee if requests from you are excessive or manifestly unfounded.
